About Jennifer
Jennifer Lappin is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), and a Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). She received a Master of Arts in Counseling from Kean University and completed her addiction counseling through the New Jersey Prevention Resource Network (NJPN). Her specialty includes helping adults and teens manage instances of trauma, grief, stress, and elements of day to day life while helping individuals decrease feelings of anxiety, depression, anger, interpersonal issues, and substance abuse. She believes each new day is a fresh start and an opportunity for growth and change. Her approach to treatment emphasizes modalities focused on implementing change such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivation Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Addiction treatment modalities in order to support individuals focused on implementing recovery and lasting change.
