About Karina
Hello, my name is Karina Llizo and I am currently a licensed social worker practicing with Positive Reset Eatontown. I have spent the majority of my career working with children and families. I have worked as a preschool teacher in my early years, as a registered behavioral technician, and now as a licensed therapist. I have always had a strong passion for working with people on the individual level to help them reach their goals. My educational background is a bachelor's in psychology, a bachelor's in human services and family studies, and a master's of Social Work. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages but have a strong inclination toward young adults, adolescents and children. My ideal client is an individual who is motivated to create change in their lives. I am open to working with clients who possess a variety of issues as long as they are willing to be active participants in the change process. A client who requires support, guidance, and individually fitted intervention. Most importantly, a client who is willing to learn and grow, through the process that the therapeutic setting offers.
