About Victoria
Victoria Romanyuk is a licensed clinical social worker and mental health therapist specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, and ADHD. Today, more and more people struggle with mental health disorders due to increased social, occupational, and emotional pressures. She also talks a lot about the biggest triggers for anxiety which include genetics, overuse of drugs/alcohol, medications, outside stressors, how you talk to yourself, the expectations you put on yourself, and unhealthy past experiences. She believes in a holistic approach to treatment, taking into account genetic and environmental factors to determine clients' individual strengths and work together with them on improving their quality of life. She has a deep understanding of maladaptive behaviors, in conjunction with a collaborative approach and the right coping skills which can provide life-changing benefits, greatly enhancing the quality of life and improving one's level of resilience. She aims to help individuals manage mental health challenges through a combination of active, empathetic listening, and therapeutic support. She utilizes evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, some somatic modalities, and REBT for anxiety (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy), which focuses on identifying and changing irrational beliefs that contribute to emotional distress. These tools help her connect with clients and build on their strengths, empowering them to overcome life's challenges.
